Search Tips

Phrase to search words as a unit (not separately), enclose in parentheses.
Example: "managed health care"
Word Stem You won't always know the form of the word to be searched, e.g. whether it is singular or plural. So to search on the stem and anything that follows, add the truncation symbol ($)
Example: tattoo$ will get all variations including tattoo, tattoos, tattooing, tattooed.
Operators Terms may be combined using the word AND
Example: children and divorce (both terms must be present in the record)
Terms may be combined using the word OR
Example: adolescent$ or teenager$ (either term must be present in the record, but not necessarily both)
