Databases and Periodicals
Journals Click here for a list of currently received print journals (PDF) These periodicals are located in the back section of the library. We normally maintain 2 to 5 years of current subscriptions. Journals available in Databases - type in the name of the journal and the various databases that it is located in will be listed. Central Search - Search across multiple databases at once. Currently not available off-campus. All Databases have full-text capabilities except those indicated "Abstracts Only" . |

provide access to full-text articles in over 12,000 of the leading scholarly
journals in the core academic disciplines, health sciences, and business.
These databases should be your first choice for finding serious, high-level
research articles. The Collegiate
DISCUS databases are coordinated by PASCAL,
in cooperation with its members,
the South Carolina State Library,
and other partners. Collegiate DISCUS is funded by the South
Carolina General Assembly through an appropriation to the South
Carolina Commission on Higher Education.
The
databases also provide access to many full-text resources. You can find magazine
& newspaper articles, reference material, maps, pictures, and web links
here. The DISCUS databases
are coordinated by the South Carolina
State Library in cooperation with schools, colleges and public libraries.
DISCUS is funded by the South Carolina
General Assembly through the K-12
Technology Initiative, with supplemental funding by the federal Library
Services & Technology Act.
