Catalog Description: This course covers introductory topics and techniques associated with the Internet and Internet communications. Techniques on how to use and access various types of information as well as how to find resources and navigate the Internet are included.
Entry-Level Skills: The student should have:
· a desire to learn about the Internet and the World Wide Web.
· the ability to read and follow directions.
· the ability to write using appropriate business terms, grammar, and spelling.
· the knowledge to use the Windows operating system to perform basic file operations.
Keyboarding skills would be extremely useful and helpful.
