Description
This course is an introduction to java programming. Topics will cover java syntax and classes for use in the development of java applications and applets.

CPTT 234 - C Programming I

Sierra and Bates. Head First Java. O'Reilly. 2005. Edition: Second.

Grading Information
Grading Rationale
There will be a Midterm Exam at the end of the seventh week of the semester and a Final Exam at the end of the course. Throughout the term, short quizzes will be given and a series of programming assignments will be completed.

At the end of the term, the final grade is calculated as follows:
20% Midterm Exam
30% Final Exam
20% Quizzes
30% Assignments
