The Administrative Office Technology program provides excellent preparation for a variety of employment opportunities and for advancement in this growing field. In addition to basic office skills, you will learn to operate computers and other high-tech equipment used in the modern office.  Students develop advanced skills in office technology including keyboarding, word processing, desktop publishing, accounting, database management applications, spreadsheet applications, written and oral communications, and administrative systems and procedures.  Graduates of this program are qualified for a variety of office support positions in the electronic office. The Automated Office diploma program is designed for the individual who desires to develop skills as a proficient office support person in a computer-oriented environment.   Students develop skills in keyboarding, word processing, accounting, database management, spreadsheet applications, written and oral communications, and office systems and procedures.  Graduates of this program are qualified for employment as a clerk typist, typist, receptionist, or similar office positions.  The Automated Office program is ideal for the student who desires a one-year program with skills needed in today's office. This program is available during the day or evening, and you may enter or graduate any semester.  Once you have completed the requirements for the diploma, you may take the additional courses required to earn the Associate in Business Degree.
