Library Mission

The mission of the Library of Tri-County Technical College is to provide to the students, faculty, and staff of the college and the local community the tools that foster critical thinking and lifelong learning. These tools include information literacy instruction, print and electronic library resources and other learning resource material. The Library does this by selecting, acquiring, and circulating appropriate materials and participating in cooperative ventures with other institutions.

The Library promotes the philosophy of the American Library Association Library Bill of Rights, Freedom to Read Statement and Code of Ethics. The Library supports the idea that access to information is a vital component for successful students and that an informed citizenry fosters an enlightened society.
